Calculation of the limit of radon daughters concentration in the ventilation system design of uranium mines

Based on the introduction of standard requirements,the estimation methods of gamma external exposure effective dose and uranium mine dust activity concentration and intake,the methods and thoughts of calculating the design limit of radon daughters α potentials energy concentration in the stope ventilation design of uranium mines are put forward,and the relevant problems are discussed.Designing the ventilation capacity and operating the ventilation system by using low radon daughters α potential energy concentration is uneconomical result for the high ore grade.It is necessary to keep the radon daughters α potential energy concentration in the air of stope in a technical and economical level by reducing the radiation worker exposure time or taking shift measures.
