The Comparison Study of Permeation Enhancing Effects of Microneedle and Azone on the Transdermal Absorption of Cordycepin

Objective To investigate the effect of different preparation enhancers on percutaneous absorption of cordycepin. Methods Using Franz-type diffusion cell and excised big mouse skin vitro as transdermal barrier, the content of ccs was determined by HPLC, then values of cumulative permeation quantity(Q), the penetration rate(J), enhancing rate(ER), lag time(Tlag) were calulated. Conclusion The cumulative permeation quantity of cordycepin was significantly increased by microneedle and azone(P0.01). The ordering of effect of enhancer on permeation quantity was 150μm microneedle Azone, but the values of them have no significant differences between the two groups(P0.05). The release mechanism of CCS in vitro may be described by apparent zero order kinetics.
