Finite Element Analysis and Optimization of the Connecting Zone at Cylinder and Head of High Pressure Vessel

For seeking the stress of the joint structure at cylinder and head of high pressure vessel,the finite element model was built up.Through exerting load and computing,the picture of stress distribution was obtained.The result showed there existed obvious stress concentration phenomenon here.The stress has relationship with its dimension size at the conjunction.The optimal mathematic model was established and OPT optimization module was used to design,optimal structure size was got which could make the factor of stress concentration smallest.Strength was analyzed in accordance with analysis design standard.The result shows the structure meets the demands of strength.
