Study on the Method of Replacing Manual Rectal Temperature Measurement with Automatic Temperature Measurement of Outer Chest of Sow's Heart

To explore the feasibility of using wearable automatic temperature measurement of the external chest of the heart in sow’s as an alternative to rectal temperature measurement. TOSHONG 2 wireless temperature transmitter was used to remote monitoring the body temperature of sow’s continuously, experiment under the environment of normal breeding, animal wireless temperature transmitter automatically launch record every two minutes a sow chest outside heart temperature data, determination of 14 head of the sow for eight days, every day early one fixed time manually rectal temperature records, the manual measurement and automatic data acquisition data comparison. Multiparity sow’s heart chest temperature range from 37.5℃ to 39.8℃, and rectal temperature range overlap, and the difference is less than 0.5℃ under two kinds of way the amount of data is 70.91%, show that sow’s heart bosom automatic temperature measurement method can replace traditional rectal temperature measuring method by hand.
