Clinical effect of esophagitis mixture on reflux esophagitis

Objective To explore the clinical effect of esophagitis mixture, a self-made prescription of spleen and stomach diseases department in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine, in treating reflux esophagitis(RE) with syndrome of blood stasis and obstruction of collaterals. Methods From October 2017 to September2018, 63 RE patients with syndrome of blood stasis and obstruction of collaterals admitted in the outpatient and inpatient department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects. According to the order of visiting, the patients were divided into treatment group(31 cases) and control group(32 cases) by random number table method. The treatment group was treated with oral esophagitis mixture, while the control group was treated with pantoprazole capsule. The total scores of TCM symptoms, specific symptoms scores before and after treatment and long-term efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the total score of TCM symptoms between the two groups(P0.05); after treatment, the total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased, and that in the treatment group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the scores of specific symptoms between the two groups(P0.05); after treatment, the scores of specific symptoms in the two groups decreased,and those in the treatment group were lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Esophagitis mixture has a remarkable effect on RE with syndrome of blood stasis and obstruction of collaterals, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
