Thermal Analysis of the Binary Mixed Solution of Diethyl Phthalate and Ethyl Benzoate

The thermal properties of diethyl phthalate, ethyl benzoate and their binary mixed solutions were measured by DSC. The results show that diethyl phthalate and ethyl benzoate undergo glass transition in the measured temperature region, and the glass transition temperature of diethyl phthalate is higher than that of ethyl benzoate. The binary mixed solution only undergoes one glass transition process, indicating that the two samples are compatible with each other, and as the mass fraction of diethyl phthalate increases in the binary mixed solution, the glass transition temperature also increases and basically satisfies the linear relationship.
