Studies on genetic basis and recurrent selection effect of inbred line maize Resistance to MRDV

WANG An_Le ,ZNAO De_Fa,CHEN Zhao_Hui,et al. (Cotton Research Institute,Shan xi Academy of Agriculture sciences, yun cheng 044000, china)
improving the characteristic of inbred line maize resistant to rough dwarf virus disease (MRDV)by directional recurrent selection. We could improve disease resistance of inbred line Maize and resistant level of its corresponding hybrid.the characteristic of MRDV is quantitative character,It controlled by polygene .in general, the resistance gene of inbred line is not homozygous,That is the fundamental of improving disease-resistance the process of directional recurrent selection to inbred line maize is the process of polygene accumulated in singular,And quantitative value increased also.
