The Application of Molecular Markers Technology in Resistance Gene of NCLB on Maize

The molecular markers technology is one of the most important methods in plant resistant gene research. This article briefly introduced several kinds of DNA molecular markers technology in common use. Elaborated the origin of resistence gene and performance on NCLB which controlled by the dominant quality resistance gene were Ht1, Ht2, Ht3 and HtN. The quantity resistant gene of NCLB involves 12 chromosomes were all effective to the physiologic races. Elaborated respectively to the quality and quantity resistant gene localization of NCLB and carried on the prospects applications of the molecular markers technology in the future.
