Prediction of Potential Distribution of Cephalcia chuxiongicaBased on Maxent Ecological Niche Model

In this study,based on the data collected randomly from 22 geographical distribution sites in Southwestern area of China,the ecological niche models Maximum Entropy(Maxent) were used to predict the potential geographical distribution of Cephalcia chuxiongica in China,taking into account its geographical distribution and environmental variables.The results suggested that the suitable areas for C.chuxiongica were mainly restricted to most parts of Yunnan,and few parts of Sichuan,Guizhou,and Guangxi.In addition,Leizhou peninsula of Guangdong,and western and southern Hainan were predicted to have low suitability for this pest.The AUC value for training and test data predicted by Maxent was 0.997,indicating high precision.A jackknife test in Maxent showed that temperature was the most important environmental variable affecting the distribution of this pest species.
