The Plankton Diversity of Dianchi Lake

Through the survey on the phytoplankton and zooplankton at 7 sampling sites,the species composition and its characteristics was analyzed in order to understand the ecological situation of Dianchi Lake and its change.120 species of phytoplankton were identified which belong to 27 families and 7 Phylums. 26 species of Protozoa,15 species of Aschelminthes,and 22 species of Arthropoda. The Dianchi Lake be devided into two parts,namely the Grass Lake and the Out lake. The average abundance of zooplankton were 3 819 ± 918 / L and 18 924 ± 4 419 /L in Grass Lake and Out Lake respectively,and that of phytoplankton were(2. 4 ± 0. 589) × 107/ L and(2. 548± 0. 244) × 107/ L respectively. Compared with previous reports,the numbers of plankton in this study were less,but phytoplankton had a tendency of recovery,the number of zooplankton in the east part was higher than that in south-west part. In general,the water quality of Dianchi Lake was still in a poor condition.
