Structural features and distribution rule of oil and gas in TanchangLujiang fault zone.
TanchengLujiang fault zone is a giant faultstructure zone in the east of China. Its basic structural features are analyzed in this paper on geometry, kinematics and evolutional dynamics. TanchengLujiang fault zone plays an important role in generation, evolution and reservoir forming of Middle Cenozoic basin in the east of China. Its characteristics of oil and gas are the widespread of bearing oil and gas, the difference of oilgas enrichment degree, "more oil and less gas" and enriched nonhydrocarbon gas. Combined with the exploration practice, the exploration direction of oil and gas in TanchengLujiang fault zone is analyzed. It is inferred that exploration potential of oil and gas (including nonhydrocarbon gas) is wide, and the next target is the area such as Bohai waters.
