Distribution of remaining oil after secondary polymer flooding and potential enhancement treatment-case study of H2Ⅱoil group,Xia'ermen oilfield,Henan petroliferous area

In order to ensure the performance of high-concentration second polymer flooding pilot test in Xia'ermen oilfield H2Ⅱoil group,and based on the understanding of second polymer flooding characteristics,we use the reservoir simulation technique to implement the comparative study on residual oil after second polymer flooding and water flooding.The results show that,after the second polymer flooding,less residual oil and lower oil saturation are adjacent to the polymer injection wells,however,in pressure balance regions,uncompleted well pattern area or fault sealing regions and so on,the remaining oil is more concentrated than the previous water drive,and the oil saturation is higher.Based on the study herein,three new wells are deployed in the relatively enriched remaining oil area to improve the well pattern.And,the initial production of new wells is 10.5- 22 t,20%to 70%of water cut,so,the second polymer flooding of Xia'ermen oilfield H2Ⅱoil group enhanced the oil production to a higher level.That stage of second polymer injection further improves the well pattern in the residual oil regions,and can further improve the rate of increment of oil,and prolong the effective production period of the polymer.
