Application of the combination suppressing techniques for multiple in the beach neritic area of the south of the Yellow Sea Basin

A strategy is proposed to suppress multiples based on the application conditions and pros and cons of the techniques to suppress multiple in view of the features of reverberations, long- path multiples and interbed multiples in the seismic data at beach neritic area of south of Yellow Sea Basin. The ghost-wave and peg-leg multiples are suppressed by combination of the dual detectors, the remaining reverberations and interbed multiples are suppressed by the predictive deconvolution, the long-path multiples and interbed multiples are suppressed by the highresolution Radon transform, the little moveout interbed multiples are suppressed by the high- resolution Radon transform, internal cut, medium filtering at the pre-stack CRP gathers. The result verified the validity of the combination suppressing techniques.
