A Novel Laser Printing System for Digital Three-dimensional Diffraction Images

A novel laser printing system has been fabricated for digital optical variable image device(DOVID) based on spatial light modulator(SLM) and holographic interferential optical head. The exposure rate of the system can be achieved as high as 2000 dots per second under the image resolution of 635dpi by using the sub-image input technique. The system will be the powerful tool for making 2D, 2D/3D, 3D and OVD in very high efficient mode.
