Design of system for long distance oil pipeline leak detection

Liu Jinhai Zhang Huaguang Feng Jian(School of Information Science & Engineering,Northeastern University,Shenyang 110004,China)  
A system of leak detection and location for oil transporting pipeline based on negative pressure wave theory is designed and is realized by Visual C++.Some key technologies of the system are explained also.The practice proves the system is easy to extend and deal with the data fast.
