Optimal forward design method for the binocular stereo vision inspection system

Stereo vision detection technology is more and more widely used for industrial detection,and how to improve the depth reduction ability and hierarchical ability of detection system is important. Here a new method for optimizing the forward design of binocular stereo vision system is presented,which is based on high dimensional function modeling and optimization. This method takes the highest accuracy of system detection as the target,with the working environment,work piece,component as constraints. The system design problem is formulated as a nonlinear optimization model with multiple objective inequality constraints. The extreme points of K-T constraint is solved,and quantitative characterization model of detection capability is constructed. The optical parameters and system parameters are optimized,and then the optimal design of the stereo vision detection system is realized. The waste of the device's blind selection is avoided. Finally,the feasibility of the presented method is verified in experiments.
