Flavones Extraction from Longan's Aril and Identification by Ethanol Method

Based on the qualitative test and quantitative test, the ‘Chuliang’ Longan’s aril was extracted by the ethanol extraction method. The studying identified that the Longan’ aril contained the flavones. The maximum absorption of lutin standard was at 510nm and the standard curve was A=9.33C+0.013 (R=0.9986). The total of flavones were 15.48±0.27 (mg/100g?FW). RSD was within 1.75%. The recovery was 103.3%±3.65% and RSD was within3.53%. The result will help to proceed with extracting flavones of Longan’s aril and activity assays, and its theoretical base is established.
