APPLICATION OF AE TECHNIQUES IN GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING

Li Junping(Safety&Environmental Protection Research Institute,Ministry of Metallurgical Industry,Wuhan 430081)  
This paper presents some applications of AE techniques in geotechnical engi-neering,including:automatic AE source location based on wave-type identification theory,method of predicting locally falling of rockmass and detecting ground water flow.
