Two methods are described to predict landslide of slopes. The first method is based upon the displacement monitoring data of slopes. When the displacementtime curve changes from an increasing stage of constant rate into accelerating stage, the critical displacement rate of landslide is found. The second method uses analysis method of time sequences to predict the development tendency of displacements in coming years according to the displacement law in the past years. Prediction of both time and displacement rate of landslide made in one year before landslide is well coincident with the real situation.
