FLAC2D3.3 and FLAC3D1.0 are used to predict surface mining displacement of No.4 Coal Mine of Hebi Coal Mining Bureau, Henan Province. By comparing the results of classical method(probability integral method)with the results of FLAC, it is shown that FLAC, which can simulate the actual geological conditions and improve insufficiency of the classical method, is a simple and effective way.
