On Precambrian framework and evolution of the Qinling belt.

Zhang Guowei, Yu Zaiping, Dong Yunpeng and Yao Anping  
The Qinling belt is one of key areas for researching on formation and evolution of early continental crust of China. A great deal of Precambrian terrians in the belt shows various characteristics and complex evolutionary history. Early stage of Precambrian is characterized by rifting apart and following integration of the late stage marginal belt of North China Block based on geological and geochemical data. Transformation from vertical accretion during Grenvillian orogeny imaged by rift system and limited ocean basins to lateral accretion of plate tectonics is important for continental dynamics with its background of mantle dynamics.
