Rheological Models and Calculation Methods for Bolted Rock Masses

Zhang Yu-jun (Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics Academia Sinica, Wuhan)Sun Jun(Tongji University, Shanghai)  
According to the concept of“equivalent material”the rheological behaviour of the bolted rockmasses was studied by applying constitutive theory and model test technique. Corresponding mechanic-al patterns were established. Examples of stability analyses of underground openings by FEM are pre-sented. Finally,a FEM analysis for a mine gallery is carried out.
