Nonlinear Stochastic FEM and its Application for Reliability Analysis

Based on the theory of nonlinear FEM and theory of reliability, the nonlinear stochastic FEM isdeveloped, and the formulas are presented in the paper. Furthemore a program is developed for reliability analysis ofnonlinear structures. As an example, the reliability analysis of gravity dam is discussed with consideration of bothnonlinearity in material and randomness in parameters.
