Dynamic Triaxial Test on Modulus and Damping

He Changrong (Water Conservancy Dept.,Sichuan Union University, Chengdu, 610065)  
An electric-magnetic dynamic triaxial aparatus is used to determine the modulus and damping of soil in the range of strain 10 -6 ~10 -2 . After a few affecting facfors being studied, a method to determine the maximum modulus and damping is suggested. Some problems in the data analysis and results expression are discussed. The values of the modulus and damping of several soils are given.
