Numerical simulation of propagation and coalescence processes of multi-crack in different rock media

Multi-crack are preset in the plates which consist of different rocks;and numerical tests are performed on the specimen under uniaxial compression by using MFPA 2D (material failure process analysis)Code recently developed.The crack propagation and coalescence processes in different rock media are studied.The numerical results have shown good agreement with those of other experiments.
