Limit analysis of soil-nailing protecting structures

The soil-nailing protecting structure is designed by limiting condition generally; and in all, to check its stability is important in design. According to the structure characteristics ,analyzing the breakage pattern of soil-nailing protecting structure, making use of the limit broke theories of the slope and the limit analysis method of the structure body, this paper studied that the revolving and gliding breakage of the soil-nailing protecting structure occurred possibly. Depending on this, the stability of the soil-nailing protecting structure was analyzed. The research results show that the soil-nailing structure was broken possibly itself in the weak foundation. The steel pipe shot buries soil-nailing was properly adopted in order to strengthen its bending resistance in engineering design.
