Application of Strength Reduction Finite Element Method in Stability Analysis of Subsea Tunnel

Based on latent slip surface and safety factor,the rationality of the designed parameters of support and excavations can be judged so as to adopt appropriate improvement suggestions.The results show that the burial depth and the space between double holes are reasonable.The whole deformation of surrounding rock mass in tunnel is small while the local deformation is significant.These position should be paid more attention to in the process of design and construction of the support.Tensile stress region appears on the top of double holes,but maximum tensile stress still smaller than rock tensile strength.The simulate results provide credible basis for designing subsea tunnel.
