Effects of calcium dipping after Harvest on Content of Ca, Mg, K and the calyx-end black spot of Korla fragrant Pear

Effects of calcium dipping after harvest on the contents of Ca, Mg, K and the calyx-end black spot of Korla fragrant pear were analyzed in 2012 and 2013. The results showed that calcium solution treatment increased the contents of Ca, Mg and Ca/Mg, decreased K content and K/Ca in fruit. 6% CaCl2 treatment significantly increased calcium content and decreased K/Ca. Calcium solution treatment obviously decreased the occurrence of calyx-end black spot. In three treatments, 4% CaCl2 treatment had more insignificant control effects of the calyx-end black spot than others with Incidence of zero. The incidences of 6% CaCl2 and 8% CaCl2 treatments were reduced by 74.4% and 79.3% respectively than control.
