Determination of Three Kinds of Organic Acid in Honeysuckle Flower by RP-HPLC

Objective:A RP-HPLC method using an internal standard with gradient elution mode is developed for the separation and determination of chlorogenic acid,caffeic acid,3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in different resources from simultaneously.Methods:Experiments were performed on CLC-ODS column (6 0 mm×150 mm).The mobile phase used was a linear gradient of methanol in 10% Na 2HPO 4-HAc buffer.Salicylic acid was used as internal standard.The UV detector was set at 304 nm.Results:The results show that the contents of these compounds in Lonicera macrathoides Hands.-Mazz.and L.similis Hemsl.which are produced in the southwest region of China are higher than those in L. japonica Thunb. produced in Shandong province and Henan province.Conclusion:The method is sensitive,quick,with accurate and reliable results.
