Identification of Compound Paracetamol and Amantadine Hydrochloride Tablets by Near-infrared Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy

Objective To identify compound paracetamol and amantadine hydrochloride tablets by near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Methods NIR spectra of 37 samples from different batches of 18 factories was collected to form the calibration set to build the indentification model,and the other spectra of 23 samples from different batches of 10 factories including 6 batches false drugs were used to validate the performance of the model. Results The results show that the model can distinguish all samples from 10 different factories actually. Conclusion The method is convenient,fast and thus,can be used to detect the false drugs on the spot check-up.
