YAN Han-chun (Department of Dermatology,The First People's Hospital,Longquanyi,Chengdu 610100,China)
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of BCG-polysaccharide nucleic acid with Prednisolone Acetate in the treatment of alopecia areata. Methods 143 cases of alopecia areata patients were randomly divided into 3 groups.BCG-polysaccharide nucleic acid combined with prednisolone acetate was used in group 1,BCG-polysaccharide nucleic acid alone was used in group 2 and prednisolone acetate was used in group 3.At the same time, efficacy of the three groups was compared. Results Among 52 cases in group 1,36 cases were recovered,13 cases showed markedly effective and 3 cases effective. In group 2 there were 48 cases, among them 22 cases were recovered,12 cases markedly effective,9 cases effective and 5 cases ineffective. There was significant difference between the cure rates of the two groups (χ2 = 5.61,P 0.05).There was significant difference between the effective rates of the two groups (χ2 = 9.68,P 0.01).In group 3 there were 43 cases, with 20 cases recovered,11 cases markedly effective,10 cases effective and 2 cases ineffective. There was significant difference between the cure rates of group1 and group 3 (χ2=5.02,P0.05).There was significant difference between the effective rates of group1 and group 3 (χ2 = 8.68,P 0.01).Conclusion Local injection of BCG-polysaccharide nucleic acid with Prednisolone Acetate suspension is an effective therapy in the treatment of alopecia areata.
