Molecular Systematics of China Native Nonastringent Persimmon Based on Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA

RAPD analysis of China and Japan native nonastringent persimmon using 25 random primers were studied.The results showed:(1)China native nonastringent persimmon experimented in the study evoluted indepardently of the Japan native nonastringent persimmon,having more abundant genetic deversity;(2)Among the germplasms of China native nonastringent persimmon,the genetic background of 5 strains of‘Luotian tianshi’,which are mainly distributed over the northwest of Hubei province,is particulary similar,but obviously different from‘Luotian tianshi’and other Hubei native nonastringent persimmon and Xiangxi tianshi,that is mainly distributed over the Hunan privincial;(3)The similarity index value of‘Tongpenshi’and Hubei native nonastringent persi mmon is near,it may suggest somewhat phylogenetic relationship between them;(4)Xiangxi tianshi is close to Japan native nonastringent persimmon in the similarity index value,which may infer that Xiangxi tianshi was from Japan or is a original material of Japan native nonastrngent persimmon.
