Quality evaluation of Coreopsis tinctoria in Xinjiang and Yunnan based on HPLC fingerprint and PLS-DA

AIM To evaluate the quality of Coreopsis tinctoria in Xinjiang and Yunnan by HPLC fingerprint and partial least-squares discriminant analysis( PLS-DA). METHODS The analysis of C. tinctoria extract was performed on Agilent TC-C18column( 4. 6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm),mobile phase was acetonitrile-0. 1% H3PO4 aqueous solution with gradient elution,flow rate was 1. 0 m L / min,column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃,and detection wavelength was set at 254 nm. RESULTS The similarities of eleven samples in training set were more than 0. 983. PLS-DA could significantly distinguish the samples from Xinjiang and Yunnan. Moreover,eleven constituents( chromatographic peaks) were taken as classification markers. CONCLUSION This method is simple,stable and feasible,which can be used for the quality control and classification of Coreopsis tinctoria.
