Special Education in the Perspective of the Multiple Intelligences Theory

According to the critical review on the traditional intelligence theories, Dr. Gardner raised the Multiple Intelligences Theory in 1983 and pointed out that there are at least seven types of relative independent and equal important intelligences in the human brain, which represent in different ways. These intelligences can be fostered and improved by providing adequate training methodologies. The paper indicated that studying on the Multiple Intelligences Theory could play an important part in the development of special education.
