Clinical analysis of 368 senile female gynecological patients in hospital

Objective:To determine the character and trend of pathogenesis, treatment mode and prognosis of gynecological diseases in senile female patients.Methods:A total of 368 senile female gynecological patients in this department in the recent 10 years was devided into two groups by different times in hospital, then were devided into three groups by different ages.Results:The number of senile female patients in recent 5 years was evident more than that in the past 5 years. The number of senile female patients between 60 and 69 was evident more than that between 70 and 79, there were only 4 senile female patients who were elder than 80-year old. Gynecological tumor was premier in disease distribution, accounting to 59.51%, prolapse of reproductive organs was in the second accounting to 16.30%; inflammation of reproductive organs was in the third accounting to 14.13%. Ovarian cancer was the maximum in gynecological malignant tumor (19.84%), ovarian benign tumor was the maximum in gynecological benign tumor (19.56%).Diabetes, hypertension and cardiopathy were popular combined diseases in senile female patients. There were 78.53% patients treated by surgery operation, the curability was 76.63%.Conclusion:There are more and more senile female patients in gynecologic department, their distribution character should be noticed to give full cognition to physical examinations, strengthen perioperative management and improve the curability.
