Status Analysis on Informed Consent of Inpatients in Grade Three A Hospital

Objective To analyze the informed consent status and discover the deficiencies in a Grade Three A general hospital,and further to prevent medical disputes. Methods 215 medical records were randomly selected by 10% from 25 departments,and analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software. Results Operation informed consents had been paid enough attention by medical staffs; however,serious deficiencies still existed in hospitalized informed consent and patients' Authorization Letter. Conclusion Three recommendations were proposed to improve the informed consent status of patients.
