The Evaluation System of Fermentation Quality of Ensiled Forage and Its Improvement

The establishment of the evaluation system of fermentation qualitg of ensiled foragt is a better way to supervise and evaluate the ensilage quality,which is a important way and a method to improve the ensilage quality and reduce waste of the resources.It has the vital significance in enhancing the fodder nutritional value and the production performance.The organic acid(lactic acid,acetic acid and butyric acid) and NH3-N are the general indexes of evaluating the quality of ensile,but the results of present researches showed that the more lactic acid in the ensiled forage,the easier happening of secondary fermentation.The content of pH value and NH3-N in ensile are relate to the different compositions in forage grass,so pH value,lactic acid and NH3-N are not suit to be the unified standard of evaluating ensiled forage quality.
