A Power System Var Comprehensive Optimal Dispatching Using Overall Sensitivity Analysis Method

By using the overall sensitivity analysis method, a linear approching model is establish-ed for comprehensive optimal dispatching the reactive power flow. In this model, all control variables, such as terminal voltages of generators and synchronous condensers, ratioes of transformer and the amounts of shunt capacitors, are in consideration.Instead of calculating the inverse of the Jacobian matrix, a method called as control va-riable perturbation method is contributed for effectively calculating the matrix of sensitivity coefficients. The linear approching dependence of perturbations of control variable is also investigated.Based on the presented method, a program has been set up and applied in var optimization calcuations for Taiyuan, Tianjin, Henan and Northeast networks of China. The results are proven to be satisfactory in technical and economical aspects.
