Calculation of Unsymmetrical Power System

This paper presents a new technique based on the compensation method. It divides unsymmetrical power system into two parts-symmetrical and unsymmetrical network. The nodal equations are used for symmetrical network. To unsymmetrical one. we describe it with phase impedance matrix. Through a series of transforms and simplification , we substitute the unsymmetrical network by bus injecting currents to evaluate equations of the symmetrical part. The technique can easily and accurately calculate any unsymmetrical states of power system , including simultaneous faults which can be imagined.
