LIFE ASSESSMENT OF THE MAIN STEAM PIPE BASED ON THE TECHNOLOGY OF RELIABILITY

In this paper,both the conventional method of life assessment and that based on reliability technology are employed to evaluate the main steam pipe in Huaneng Xindian power plant.The life assessment method based on reliability indicates invalidation of the main steam pipe is a stochastic process,in which reliability degree (invalidation probability) is taken as primary criterion,combined with the reliability management of power plants.So this new approach undoubtedly shows much more accuracy and objectivity than the conventional method.
