EVALUATION OF EQUIVALENT CIRCUIT PARAMETERS FOR PERMANENT MAGNET LINEAR SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

The equivalent circuit is an important aid in evaluation and analysis of steady state operation performance of a motor.Unfortunately,the traditional equivalent circuit is not available for a salient pole machine.The paper proposes a new concept equivalent circuit that is based on the linear theory of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PM LSM),which replaces zone or real magnetic poles by a linear area with equivalent permeability.This equivalent circuit is in the same form for either salient pole machine or non salient pole machine without trouble of d q axis,and can be used to analyze and evaluate the performance data of PM LSM conveniently.
