A NONLINEAR ANALYSIS ON DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE DROP SIGNAL FOR GAS-LIQUID TWO-PHASE FLOW

A nonlinear method to process time sequence is systematically described according to the three characteristic quantities of chaosfractal dimension, Lyapunov index and prediction error. It is identified that there exist chaotic phenomena in the two-phase flow by applying this method for processing two-phase flow differential pressure drop signals measured from experiment. And a dynamic characteristics of system is clearly reocurred in the reconstruction of phase space. The results show important significance for understanding the mechanism and essence of two-phase flow.
