CONTACTLESS POWER SUPPLY OF MAGLEV USING HARMONIC INJECTION METHOD

This paper presents a new method to supply the power of Maglev when it is running in low speed. It is realized by adding a high frequency current to the original current of the stator and adding linear generator windings to magnetic pole. Output voltage model of linear generator is given. Relationship between the output voltage of linear generator and the injecting harmonic current is studied. Finally, experiment results are given. The results show the feasibility of the harmonic injection method.
