RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF STATE VARIABLE-PREDICTIVE CONTROL IN 600MW UNIT REHEATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM

Reheat steam temperature of the boiler in thermal power plant is one of the most important parameters of unit’s security and economy. It has the large inertia and lag characteristic. Aiming at the characteristic of the controlled plant in reheat steam temperature, this paper put forwards the state variable-predictive control strategy based on the modern control theory for the control of reheat steam temperature. The control strategy is to compensate the large inertia and lag characteristic of the controlled plant by state feedback, then to control the compensated generalized plant by predictive control. The simulation results and the practical tests show that the control method proposed in this paper has high control guality, and it is an effective control strategy for the large log plant in industry process.
