Design of Voltage Source Inductively Coupled Power Transfer System With Series Compensation on Both Sides of Transformer

Based on analyzing the main parameters of the voltage gain function of the voltage source inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system with series compensation on both sides of the transformer,a new design methodology based on the voltage transfer function was proposed. The voltage gain function was presented on the basis of the circuit modeling and analysis. Taking the charging platform application for portable electronic equipments as an example,influences to the voltage gain characteristics were analyzed as the main parameters of the circuit vary respectively,and appropriate ranges of some parameters were suggested. Based on the model parameters analysis,a new design method of the voltage source ICPT system was introduced. The feasibility of the design method is verified by the experimental results,which also demonstrate the accuracy of the model.
