The Common Character of Phase Shifter Based Power Flow Control

Based on the common character of phase shifter, this paper derives a set of unified formulae of the bus equivalent injected current and of the bus equivalent injected power with a symmetrical Y-bus matrix preserved. On this basis, a unified power flow control algorithm is described and the unified formulae are also used in this algorithm. Examples of some test systems show that the method in this Paper can analyze the effects of various Phase shifters to power flow control at the same time. Therefore,this method is of powerful suitubility.
