Prediction on Pulverized Coal Combustion Process in the boiler Using Computer Simulation

The theories of turbulent flow,radiation and pulverized coal combustion are used for numerical simulation on combustion process of the boiler chamber in three-dimensions and two-phases with chemical reactions. This paper gives the mathematic models,calculation methods and boundaries' treatments. The developed computer programs are applied to simulate the combustion process of the 420 t/h boiler,and the results show well with pulverized coal combustion in this type boiler.
