Fast Calculation of Any Complex Fault in Power System with Variable Structures

In this paper,network operations and any complex fault are modeled as symmetrical and asymmetrical modifications to each original sequence networks. Based on the compensation method,by using the phase-sequence parameter transformation technique and the multi-dimensional Thevenin theorem,a new method is presented for fast calculation of any complex fault in POwer system with variable structures without modifing the impedance matrices of each original sequence networks. The method has been proved to be fast and accurate by a numerical example.
