FFT ALGORITHM WITH HIGH ACCURACY FOR HARMONIC ANALYSIS IN POWER SYSTEM

The FFT has a higher error in the harmonic analysis of the electric power system, especially for the phases. This paper discussed the leakage of FFT and presented a new amending algorithm, poly-cosin window interpolation, which based on the interpolating algorithm proposed by K. Jain and T. Grandke. This new algorithm obviously improves the accuracy of the FFT, so it can be applied to the precision analysis for electrical harmonic. The simulating result shows that applying deferent windows has the deferent effects to the accuracy, and the Blackman-Harris window has the highest accuracy.
