Optimization of PID parameters based on genetic algorithm

The setting and optimization of PID parameters are always the important stady topics in the automatic control field.To carry out optimization of PID parameters by using genetic algorithm is a kind of optimization method to explore the overall optimum and independent of the initial conditions.In the optimizing process,a number of simulating experiments were conducted with two dif-ferent target functions taken into consideration.The simulation results show that,to apply genetic algorithm to the feasibility and ef-fectiveness of optimization of controller's parameters is a good practical optimization method of PID parameters.
